Due to the high demand for bookings at this time of the year these conditions apply to bookings that include the dates  20th December through to 8th January, to make it fair and clear to everyone.

• We don’t charge extra at Christmas but we cannot offer discounts during this time.
• Due to the high demand over this time there is a minimum boarding charge of $175 for dogs,  $160 for toy dogs and $105 for cats.
• If your dog has not stayed with us before, we would prefer that they come for a doggy daycare day or overnight stay prior to their Xmas booking.  We find they settle better if they have already stayed with us.
• We require a $50 deposit per pet within 7 days of the booking being made. Please use your pet's name & Xmas as the reference if you are making bank deposit     eg Xmas Poppy    . The deposit holds your booking. Our bank account no. is 02-0727-0162617-000
• Please wait until you get a confirmation email to pay the deposit, as we get more bookings at this time of the year than we can fill. Please check your junk folder. 
• Any cancellation of a Xmas booking after 15th November will lose any deposit paid and it is non-transferable, and if the deposit hasn't been paid there will be a $50 cancellation fee per pet.  This will be entirely at the discretion of Creature Comforts Pet Lodge.
• If a customer requests a change of boarding dates for a confirmed Xmas booking after 15th November, which shortens the original booking period, the original charge will remain the same.
• The last day for Doggy  Day Care will be 20th December and will not resume until  Monday, 13th January 2025.

We hope you understand the necessity to introduce some stricter booking rules around Xmas.  We would love to fit everyone in during this period but unfortunately it just isn’t possible. To avoid disappointment, please book early.

 We look forward to having your pet stay over the Xmas holiday period. 

Please Note: If you have an entire female and she is due to come into season or comes into season over the Xmas/New Year period ,  she wont be able to stay with us as it is too disruptive for the other dogs. At these times we do not have the extra space available to distance her far enough away from entire males. If there is no other option there will be an extra $20 on top of the boarding fee per day to house her, as there will be extra work for staff involved in caring for her during this time.
